Grace Patisserie is a boutique cake studio specialising in wedding cakes and bespoke celebration cakes in Christchurch.

Founded by pastry chef Mariah Grace, the studio combines French patisserie techniques with delicate Asian-inspired flavours to create cakes that are both visually stunning and beautifully balanced in taste.

Every cake is made from scratch using premium ingredients — including Belgian chocolate, French fruit purées, and high-quality New Zealand butter — ensuring exceptional flavour in every slice. 

From elegant buttercream florals to modern textured designs, each cake is carefully crafted to reflect the couple, the celebration, and the atmosphere of the day.

Our cakes feature: Light, moist sponge layers. Handmade fillings such as ganache, curds, and fruit compotes. Smooth Italian meringue buttercream, known for its silky texture and balanced sweetness.

Our Story

Grace Patisserie began in Wellington as a small patisserie founded by husband-and-wife team Andrew and Mariah Grace.

After welcoming their growing family, the business has now returned in a new form — focusing on wedding and bespoke cakes for Christchurch and North Canterbury.
